Again and Again

Housekeeping:
Looks like pictures are back at 3:00 on Monday.
Wednesday vs Upper Perk: dismiss time is 2:00. Depart-2:15
Friday vs Pottsgrove: Depart-3:15.

Reality:
I liked what I saw today in the 6 v 6 games. Most of the JV players were moving and calling for the ball. That will make it easier for next years coach. Movement was still soooooo slow.
Remember - as soon as you release the ball - it is your job to support the ball carrier.

We are playing with Sein-Lwin and Syrylo moving up just for the tourney. It's up to them to prove themselves at Antietam.

Question: Why were some of the varsity players so brain dead today?
I have 3 players ready to be moved down to JV. Let's see how they play tomorrow. Two of the three will be there.
The real test is the tourney........

Tourney Information - I just found it.

Game 1 – Palmyra (away) vs. Muhlenberg (home) – 9:00 AM

Game 2 –St, Pius X (away) vs. Antietam (home) - 10:45 AM

Game 3 – Consolation - Non-winner game 1 (away) vs. Non-winner game 2 (home) – 1:15PM

Game 4 – Championship – Winner game 1 (away) vs. Winner – game 2 (home) – 3:00 PM

We have shortened the playing time a little. If the weather is extremely hot, we may have a timeout at the mid-point of each half for a water break.

Games 1 & 2: Two 30 minute halves – 10 minute half time. Ties will be broken by playing two 10-minute sudden victory periods. If the game is still tied we will Penalty Kicks. If still tied after the 5th person, we will have sudden death PK’s with players who have not yet participated in the shootout (up to 10 before you can start over). Games 1 & 2 must have a winner. Since we need a winner, this will count in your overall record as a win or a loss.

Games 3 & 4: Consolation and Championship games: Two 35 minute halves – 10 minute half time. Ties will be broken by playing two 10-minute sudden victory periods. If the game is still tied we will declare the game a tie. If it is the championship game, we will declare co-champions.

Please bring along both uniforms. Teams will be allowed to warm up on the field hockey below our soccer field. This way we should be able to get the next game started as scheduled. Once Game 1 and Game 3 are completed, we will place 15 minutes on the clock for the start of the next game.

Each team should supply 2 ball runners for each game they play.
