MON 10 SEP vs Pottsgrove

First - let me clarify that game comments here are for varsity unless directly specified for JV.
Second - these are MY observations. They are uncensored, unabridged and unedited. Read at your own risk.
We are better skilled then they were. They had desire.
They wanted the ball more then we did. And they did beat us on almost every ball.
We waited for the ball to come to us. They stepped to almost every ball.
They won almost every ball in the air and more than 70% on the ground. We stood and watched.
We let at least 6 air balls hit the ground. They watched us 6 times.
They functioned as a team by talking. We listened to their talking.
We had 2 crosses - one each half. They consistently went for the long ball. We gave them the space to do it.
No one and I mean no one took control on the field. They had control.
They came to play we did not.
I pray that this game was the last occurrence of reverting back to our old ways.
We will talk and listen to each other.
We will show for every ball around us.
We will step to the ball. (First to the ball)
We will go up and fight for every air ball.
We will work as a team.
We have 4 days to fix these problems.
